Urban Forestry Specialist - Assistant Professor of Practice

The Oregon State University College of Forestry and OSU Extension Service are hiring two Urban Forestry Specialists at the rank of Assistant Professor of Practice. The duties of these positions include 40% teaching online urban forestry courses, 40% Extension programming in urban forestry, and 20% scholarship and service. Join our award-winning Oregon State University Ecampus instructional team and help mentor current and future urban forestry professionals. Serve the residents of Oregon with technical urban forestry educational programming as part of the OSU Extension Forestry and Natural Resources team. Minimum requirements include a Masters degree and professional experience in urban forestry, plus excellent communications skills.  Salary is $70-80K plus an extensive benefits package. Initial application deadline is November 18, 2024 with a tentative start date of March, 2025.
